From Cal:

Wow, what a crowd for Flag Day in Florence. We packed em in, both in public attendance as well as our Club having it's largest military vehicle showing to date. We had twelve MV's plus an assortment of trailers! I want to thank each of the members who braved the weather (didn't look too good at first but turned out alright eventually) and brought their rigs; I also want to thank Daryl Parsons for manning the museum booth with his display, Bob Reinke who parked planes and Bill Lambiaso who parked cars all day long! In addition to having a great display for the public, we also handed out close to ten membership packets, so with any luck, we'll be picking up new members - I know one slat grill owner who is contemplating joining.
Next up is the 4th of July display at the Mill Casino in North Bend. They asked for a large presence of military vehicles, so I hope you'll be joing us. The show runs from 11:30 until 15:30 (for us civilians I think that's 3:30 in the afternoon), and although they say be there no later for staging than 11:oo, I'd get there before then. Our contact if you need any help is Terry Wilmeth, and his cell Phone # is 971-237-3217.

After that, it will be the Stearman fly in in Lakeside in August. Sam Spayd is still putting the details together on that, and hopefully we'll have it all for you at the July 11th meeting, 10:30 at the Florence Airport - see ya then.
